Isis was one of the principal goddesses of ancient Egypt. She was referred to as Ceres, Juno, the Moon, the Earth, Nature, Proserpina, Thetis, Mother of the Gods, Cybele, Venus, Diana, Hecate, Rhamnusia… She was called the Goddess of Ten Thousand Names: Myrionymos (μυριώνυμος)
Myrionymos evokes the name of the prophetess Miriam (Mary in English), who, like Isis, is connected to Egypt and the sea.
“For Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and horsemen went into the sea, and the Lord brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.
Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.
And Miriam sang to them: ‘Sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted. Both horse and driver He has hurled into the sea.’
Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water.
When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.)”
(Exodus 15:19-23)

Cybele was a Phrygian deity later adopted by the Greeks and Romans. Like Miriam, she is often depicted holding a timbrel.

Malchut (the 10th sefira in Kabbalah) is associated with many names, and a name represents the inner essence of a thing. This interiority is the divine dimension of the divine: Its Presence.
In the Hebew name Miriam, two roots are found:
– Mar (מר), meaning “bitter,” and
– Meri (מרי), meaning “rebellion.”
Miriam rebelled against the bitterness of Egyptian exile.
מרים
The interior essence of things is hidden, like subterranean waters. To make them emerge, one must “rebel” and “dig deeper”, refusing to settle for surface appearances.
The Mariana Trench is the deepest known oceanic trench, symbolizing the profoundest part of Earth’s crust.
The largest number mentioned in the Bible is “Revavah”, meaning “Ten Thousand” or “Myriad”:
רבבה
“And they blessed Rebecca and said to her: ‘Our sister, may you increase to thousands of myriads; may your descendants possess the gates of their enemies.’”
(Genesis 24:60)
According to Kabbalah, there are five levels of the soul:
1. Nefesh (animal soul)
2. Ruach (spirit)
3. Neshamah (soul)
4. Chayah (essence of life)
5. Yechidah (union with the One)
There are also 10 sefirot, with each world receiving a tenth of the level above. Similarly, each soul level corresponds to:
– Units (Nefesh)
– Tens (Ruach)
– Hundreds (Neshamah)
– Thousands (Chayah)
– Myriads (Yechidah)
“I made you as numerous as the vegetation of the fields; you increased and grew. You came to full womanhood—your breasts were firm, your hair had grown—but you were naked and bare.”
(Ezekiel 16:7)
By connecting the Lower World to the Upper World, materiality to spirituality, humanity reveals Keter (the highest sefira) in its fullness and illuminates the sefira Malchut (the Divine Presence on Earth).
When this happens, Malchut transforms into the Keter of the next world. At the time of the Final Redemption, the Shechina (Divine Presence) will no longer be “bare” but fully “revealed.”
